Housing and Climate Innovation
This session highlighted the innovative ways local communities and young leaders are working at the intersection of housing affordability, climate resilience, and net-zero development.
Participants heard from MassHCIC Program Administrator Adèle Giovanniello, who shared how the All-Stars program pairs undergraduate and graduate students with Cape towns to identify assets, connect municipalities with climate-tech innovators, and pilot solutions that reduce costs and build resilience. The session also featured presentations from the All-Star interns, who shared their independent research projects.
The discussion underscored how local action, innovation, and collaboration are driving meaningful solutions for Cape Cod’s housing and climate challenges. Attendees were encouraged to get involved by hosting future All-Stars, donating to the program, or connecting towns and innovators to potential projects.
Housing 101: Where There is Hope
Housing to Protect Cape Cod, Cape Cod Community College, and CCYP collaborated on April 24th for a hands-on, interactive conversation about the housing crisis — what’s driving it, how it affects all of us, and what we can do together to make a difference.
